Barley’s Burgers started in our kitchen, with Andy testing ideas and refusing to cut corners. After 20+ years working in restaurants around the Portland area, he knew exactly what he didn’t want—boring food or anything rushed just to get it out the door.

We built the menu around what we actually love to eat: big, fresh-ground burgers (never smash burgers), loaded specialty hot dogs, and JoJo’s that are worth coming back for. Everything is cooked to order, because that’s the only way we think it should be done.

When the opportunity came up to turn it into something of our own, it just made sense. We took that same mindset—quality, no shortcuts, and food we’re proud to serve—and put it on wheels.

Now we’re out at breweries, distilleries, and events all over the Portland area, bringing the same food we started with in our kitchen. And yes, Barley (our dog and namesake) is still very much part of it.
